The Cultural Arts and Recreation Center offers 30,000 sq. ft. of space for programs and activities offered byour department. The Mountain Dew Climbing Wall will challenge young and old alike. The Fitness Center is available for those who want a challenging work out and is ideal for anyone wanting to tone up and gain strength along with the Walking/Running Track. The Recreation Center also offers space for dance/theater, creative arts, pre-school programs, exercise and conditioning, a full sized gymnasium and the Arvin Activity Room, which is available for meetings, birthday parties or other events. Locker rooms with shower facilities are available. Facility membership cards or a daily fee are required for the use of the Center.

We have a variety of cardiovascular equipment, Pro-Power weight lifting equipment and free weights in our Fitness Center. You must be at least 14 years of age to qualify for a fitness center membership. Individuals under 18 must have a consent form signed by a parent/guardian. Membership is valid for one year. A valid facility membership is needed to purchase a fitness center membership.
